6 x 6 One Sheet Wonder – Pansy Petals

I returned from my vacation on Tuesday….and one of the first things i did was go in my craft rom to figure out what I was going to do for my Facebook Live that was scheduled for later in the evening.  I had 4 hours to think of something…well less if I wanted to actually put up my post so people would know and could get their supplies ready.  My Facebook Live each week is a bit of a “mystery” Stamping.  I tell them the supplies they need with measurements, but they don’t know what they will be making.  Here is the result of the One Sheet Wonder: 

I used a 6″ x 6″ piece of the Pansy Patch Designer Series Paper.  I chose this piece because I thought the darker color would give more contrast to the 4″ x 5 1/4″ pieces of Basic White Cardstock that I used as a background mat than some of the other lighter colored pieces.  By using the Basic White Cardstock as a background I also gave myself the perfect way to stamp my sentiments without adding more pieces.  I wanted to make these as clean and simple as possible.

I used the Pansy Patch Stamp Set as it coordinates beautifully with my Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper.   As you can see there is is minimal stamping.  The Pansy Patch Stamp Set has six sentiments and this One Sheet Wonder Design makes six cards, so I used each sentiment once….one on each of the cards.

 

I found this 6 x 6 cutting diagram and adapted it to make the 6 cards.  I am not sure who designed this particular one as I saw it in several different places.  If this cutting design is your creation, please let me know and I will credit you.

Because I knew that I wanted to mat all the cards, I cut those pieces and then arranged them so I could do a One Sheet Wonder coordinating Cardstock cutting diagram too.  It just seems to make sense that you can get them all cut in the same way as the Designer Series paper.

The green areas in the diagram above are pieces that are excess and can be thrown away.  

After cutting the Designer Series Paper and the cardstock, I adhered the matching pieces together, so it would be easy to assemble all the cards. 

The supplies needed are simple, which makes this an easy set of cards to make and as they all have a different sentiment, they would make a beautiful gift.  If you would like to make these cards, these are the supplies you will need.

• Pansy Patch Stamp Set
• Evening Evergreen Cardstock – Cut 6 pieces 4 1/4″ x 11″; scored at 5 1/2″
• Basic White Cardstock – Cut 12 pieces 4″ x 5 1/4″
• Evening Evergreen Ink
• 3/8″ Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon
• Adhesive: Stampin’ Seal, Dimensionals, Glue Dots
• Tools: Paper Trimmer, Paper Snips
