There is nothing like having everything all nice and neat. Everything in it’s place…neat and tidy. Well, let me just tell you that it’s not happening right now in my little craft corner of the world. My desk is littered with bits and pieces of the card I’m sharing with you now, plus I have card kits in progress laying on my craft tables. I am waiting for the UPS man to deliver a box of goodies that I need to to finish. In the meantime, let me share with you a super simple card:
There is no Designer Series Paper on this card…it’s all stamping! The background behind the Floral Squares is all stamped…although it does have the look of paper….and I supposed you could use paper, but it is definitely much more fun to stamp. I used the All Squared Away Stamp Set and the coordination dies called Floral Squares Dies, and decided to use simple colors too….Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape. My sister was just here visiting and she loves purple, so that’s what I reached for.
I just realized from looking at the picture of the Floral Square Dies above that one of the squares I placed sideways on my card? Can you guess which one it is? Let me know if you figured it out! But here’s another chance to get it right:
If you would like to make this card, these are the supplies that you will need:\
- All Squared AwayStamp Stamp Set
- Floral Square Dies
- Rectangle Stitched Dies (optional – sentiment mat)
- Gorgeous Grape Cardstock
- Cut 5 1/12” x 8 1/2”; Score and fold at 4 1/4”
- Scraps for flower pieces
- Basic White Cardstock
- Cut 5 3/8” x 4 1/8”
- Cut four squares 2” x 2” (die cut floral squares)
- Cut 2 5/8” x 5/8”
- Ink: Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape
- Ribbon: 3/8” Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon
- Adhesive: Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine Tip Glue Pen, Dimensionals
- Tools: Paper Trimmer, Paper Snips and Stampin Cut & Emboss Machine
