I’m trying to catch up with posting on my blog, so let’s hop right to it! I mean that figuratively and literally because today’s card is an Easter card and features the cutest little bunny!
Is that not the cutest bunny? And he’s peeking out the hole in the card which you can see better below:
And the card even expands just a little bit more so you can see that there is plenty of room to write a note….or stamp a sentiment!
That sweet little bunny is from the Playing in the Rain stamp set, which also has a matching die set. Did you notice that the dies not only will cut out the images from the stamp set but that there are also extra dies to help you create a little background scene – a fence, grass, a tree stump, butterflies, a kite and even bow ties to dress your bunny up for those formal occasions. And lucky for you, the Playing in the Rain Bundle has just come back into stock! (I was actually waiting to post this until the items were available for purchase!)
And….check out the coordinating Rain or Shine Designer Series Paper. You can use the Playing in the rain Dies above to cut out images directly from the paper…all three of the fun critters – bunny, fox and turtle, as well as one of the folded umbrellas. It’s hard to see in the picture, but the rain drop sheet also has a little “shine” to it to make the raindrops look like they are glistening.
Did you wonder how I “colored” the bunny’s shirt? To make that, I stamped the bunny image on a piece of the designer series paper. I then used my Paper Snips to fussy cut just the shirt. You will want to cut right on the outside of the stamped line around the shirt. Then it’s just super simple to dress the bunny by adhering the DSP Shirt directly on the stamped bunny image.
