If you have not gotten your hands on the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper, then I know you will want to get some by the time you finish reading this post. In fact that paper has been so popular that the Suite Collection was temporarily out of stock and the arrival of a new shipment was being anxiously awaited. Before I even show you my card, I’m going to show you the paper.
Gorgeous isn’t it? And here is the card:
What makes this paper so great is that you can make cards as fast as you can die cut the flowers from the papers! You can also stamp and then color the flowers with Stampin’ Blends markers or watercolor pencils, but if you are looking for fast, then all you need are the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Papers and the Blossoming Happiness Dies
Four of the flowers and two of the leaves can be die cut right from the paper. You can see an example of the flowers I was cutting for another card below:
Although I didn’t show it in the picture above, I also die cut the flowers along the edge. Don’t throw those away! You can use them along the edge of a card or as a bit of pretty decoration on the inside of your card.
Did I mention that this card is a Fun Fold Card too? It’s so easy too. Score the 4 1/4″ x 11″ card base on the LONG side 2 3/4″ from each end. (Score one end, and then turn it 180 degrees and score the other end. That way you will only need to remember one number to score your cardstock.

- Happiness Abounds Bundle (Happiness Abounds Stamp & Blossoming Happiness Dies (Note: you can fussy cut the flowers if you don’t have the dies)
- Gingham Embossing Folder (optional)
- Gorgeous Grape Cardstock – Cut 4 1/4″ x 11″; Score on the LONG side at 2 3/4″ from each end (Score one end at 2 3/4″ , then turn 180 degrees and score the opposite end at 2 3/4″); also cut one piece 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″
- Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper – Choose 2 or 3 Co-ordinating patterns – Cut 2 pieces (each a different pattern) 4″ x 2 1/2″, Cut one piece 4″ x 5 1/4″ (inside)
- Basic White Cardstock – Cut 3″ x 4″ (front) and cut 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ (inside), plus a piece for the sentiment 3 1/2″ x 1/2″
- Ink: Gorgoues Grape
- Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon (retired)
- 2021-2023 In-Color Opal Rounds
- Adhesive: Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals, Glue Dots
- Tools: Paper Trimmer, Paper Snips, Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine
I had made this same card earlier when I was “testing” my project. This is the same card, but using a different color palette. This card is made with Melon Mambo Cardstock and of course some of the pink flowers. Remember the photo above where I was cutting pink flowers? Some of them ended up on this card.
This is the same card, same Fun Fold, just a different color cardstock and I chose different paper from the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper package. Which one do you like better?
