General Cards, Thinking of You

A Joyful Life

A Joyful life is something I strive for.  I do not always achieve it every day, but I am working on it.  In fact it was my New Year’s resolution.  You can read about that hereA Joyful Life also just also happens to be the name of the stamp set that I used to make the card that I am sharing today.  Here is the card……

…..and this is the stamp set….that shows just a few things that you can do for joy.  Take a bike ride with a friend.  You don’t necessarily have to put your friend in the bike basket like the bear did with his little bunny friend.  My friend would not fit into that basket!

Or you can go grab a hot beverage on a cool day like the little piggy.  Or choose my personal favorite…bake! And then give your fresh baked goodies to friends or neighbors.  Or in my case I take them to where I go for Physical Therapy (my way of bribing them to go easy on me!…haha….doesn’t always work though!)  But isn’t that hedgehog a cutie!  I love that little apron.

Here is another view of the card.  It looks just like a regular card, but this is actually a Fun Fold card.  It’s called a Spanner Card.  The Bumblebee piece on the front actually “spans” across the front and it opens like this:

But the Fun Fold does not stop there….it opens again.  The middle section opens up so you can now see the full inside of the card.

Here is a closeup of the little hedgehog carrying her bowl of apples….or are they doughnuts?
