How would you fill in this blank? Nothing’s Better Than _______________. Chocolate? Cookies? Coffee? Cocktails? If you answered yes to any of those, I have the perfect stamp set for you…..and it is called…. Nothing’s Better Than. Because it’s Friday and time to relax and kick back after a long week, I think this card is perfect.
If you know me well, then you might wonder why Cocktails? I’m not a drinker, just not my thing, but slushy icy cold drinks are the best on a hot summer’s night….preferably if you are overlooking a beach. I’ll have a Virgin Strawberry Daiquiri please!
Those little drinks look so inviting. Maybe it’s the bright colors of the card. That Magenta Madness Cardstock just pops right out at you! Or maybe it is the tiny little ice cubes in each glade. Or little parasols and lime slices perched on the rim. I love the details that went into this stamp set! Pair it with some bright summer colors – Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green and Bumblebee ink and you’ve got a fun in a glass card!
I made my own “background paper” using the stamps in the Nothing’s Better Than Stamp set. I inked the stamps with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then just randomly stamped the image on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock. The drink glass, umbrellas and fruit slices are filled in with more stamps! Just one little stamp and your glass goes from empty to full! I feel like a bartender filling up glasses! Just make sure you clean off your stamps when you are switching colors. Simple and easy!
The stamp set also has a coordinating die set called Love You More Than Dies. Included in the set are dies to cut out the drinks, cookies, coffee cups and chocolates. You can stamp the words: Coffee, Cookies, Cocktails and Chocolate, but there are also coordinating dies for those words too.
The best part however might be the sentiment on the inside of the card. All the sentiments are great….so many combinations to make with the different phrases, but my favorite has to be just about everyone’s mantra right now.

- Stitched So Sweetly Dies (optional)
- Magenta Madness Cardstock – Cut 4 1/4” x 11”, Score and fold at 5 1/2”, plus a piece cut 2” x 3 1/4” (or use the Stitched So Sweetly Dies)
- Whisper White Cardstock – Cut 2 pieces 5 1/4” x 4”, plus a scrap for the sentiment and the cocktail on the inside of the card.
- Ink – Magenta Madness, Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, Bumblebee and Memento Tuxedo Black
- 1/4” 2020-2022 In-Color Ribbon in Magenta Madness
- 2020-2022 In-Color Enamel Dots
- Adhesive: Stampin’ Seal or Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals
