It’s Monday, so it’s time for another simple card. The card I am sharing today features two of the dies from the Forever Flourishing Dies from the Forever Greenery Suite. There isn’t much stamping on this card and there are no pieces of Designer Series Paper either. Just a few pieces of cardstock….
This is a simple stamping card because the only stamping is the sentiment. The rest of the card is just two of the ferns from the Forever Flourishing Dies….the two on the bottom left hand corner.
But what makes this card elegant is the Brass Foil Paper that I used to die cut the larger of the two ferns and the brass accent piece on the side of the card.
I think that anything that is shiny makes a card seem fancier….What do you think?
If you’d like to make this card, here are the few simple things that you will need:
- Coastal Cabana Cardstock – Cut 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”, Score and fold at 4 1/4”
- Brass Foil Sheet – Cut 1” x 5 1/2”
- Whisper White Cardstock – Cut 5 1/2” x 3 1/2 and a piece cut 5 1/4” x 4”
- Ferns: scraps of Coastal Cabana Cardstock and Brass Foil Sheet
- 1/2” Whisper White Faux Linen Ribbon (from Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack
- Crumb Cake Ink
- Lovely You Stamp Set (sentiment)
- Forever Flourishing Dies
- Adhesive: Stampin’ Seal Or Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Glue Dots
Just a little fern on the inside too!
