Every year my husband and I celebrate the Fourth of July….usually by going to a baseball game, watching fireworks…and the one time I will eat a hotdog at the ballpark. Maybe throw in some Cracker Jacks for good measure. Every family has a different way of celebrating our freedom….picnics, watching fireworks, a backyard barbecue, displaying the flag, maybe going to a parade. I tried to incorporate a few of these into the Patriotic Sampler I am sharing today.
This sampler uses many Stampin’ Up items that are retired…..but isn’t that what we do on holidays? We follow tradition of things that we have done in the past and incorporate it into our lives today. We get out out favorite outfits and dress in red, white and blue. We get together with old friends for a barbecue. We drag out our bicycles and go for a family bike ride or get out our worn picnic basket and pack it full of goodies for a picnic,
I borrowed and CAS’ed many of the ideas for the individual blocks from fellow Demonstrators and crafters…making changes to some, adding some of my own ideas. Thank you to all who shared!
Hope everyone has a happy and safe Fourth of July!
Happy Stamping!
Patricia
Check back in a day or two for the tutorial for this project…..for right now….go out and enjoy your day!
This is a list of the products I used on today’s project. All the items are Stampin’ Up products except fof the the bicycle…that was just a random stamp and die that I have, but you can see the rest of the products used here:
