DistINKtive Stamps!

The definition of distinctive is possessing a characteristic of a thing that distinguishes it from another.  One of the unique things Stampin’ Up products is that they have a created their own patent pending DistINKtive Stamps.  What makes these stamps distinctive is their ability to lay down the ink in a unique way that gives you shading and dimension by just inking up your stamp and laying it down on paper.  Today’s card is made with the Painted Seasons stamp set, one of DistINKtive set of stamps that was offered during Sale-A-Bration.

I used two stamp sets for this card: Painted Seasons (for the flower and leaves) and Life is Grand (for the sentiment)

Here are a few close ups of the stamp and the of the stamped image.  See how different it looks from the “Hello” stamp on the right?  The distINKtive stamp is finely detailed and stamps like a photographed image!  That is what makes  this stamp different or distINKtive.

And with one simple stamp and a few minutes, you can create a card that looks like it took hours.

So why am I telling you about a DistINKtive stamp set that is not available?  Because April’s Paper Pumpkin includes and is featuring a NEW DistINKtive stamp set!  So you could own your own distINKtive stamps!  You could have photo-realistic images with just one stamp!  What could be easier?  This is Simple Stamping at it’s best!
