Country Christmas

Stampin’ Up has an entire Holiday Catalog full of Christmas themed stamp sets. And they have even more Christmas themed stamp sets in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. But the Christmas card I am sharing with you today is not made with any of those, but with a stamp set called Jars of Love.

Here is a look at the stamp set and the Everyday Jars Framelits which makes for easy cutting of the jars!

Doesn’t look very Christmas-y does it? But if you use your imagination (and some help from another crafter who posted a similar card that I CASE’d) you can make this too. Pick a few Christmas colors – green, red & white – and combine them with a little “greenery” using the Sprig punch and the Tropical Thinlits Dies below (see that fern in the bottom right?….looks like a pine branch to me!!). Suddenly you have a Christmas card!

And don’t forget the Farmhouse Twine….perfect embellishment to finish off the top of the jars.

And then just add your favorite sentiment on the middle jar and inside the card. On the inside I framed the sentiment with two little 1/4” strips of Mossy Meadow Cardstock.

Jars of Love Stamp Set – stamp each jar with Smokey Slate ink
Everyday Jars Framelit Dies
Sprig Punch
Tropical Thinlits Dies (fern/Pine bough)
Whisper White Thick Cardstock – Cut 5 ½” x 8 ½” ; Score at 4 ¼”
Mossy Meadow Cardstock – 5 ⅜” x 4 ⅛”, plus two strips 1/4” x 5 1/4” (inside card)
Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper (Wood-look) – Cut 5 ¼” x 4”
Scraps of Mossy Meadow, Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White Cardstock for jars
Ink: Mossy Meadow and Smokey Slate
Festive Farmhouse Cotton Twine – Mossy Meadow, Cherry Cobbler & White
Snail Adhesive and Stampin’ Dimensionals
