It was my husband’s birthday two weeks ago and I decided that he was going to get a homemade card! He’s a dapper kind of guy, so I reached for the Dapper Denim cardstock…that is one of the retiring 2016-2018 In Colors, so it will be gone soon!….but it also pairs beautifully with one of my favorite other colors….Lemon Lime Twist, which is part of the 2017-2019 In Colors. It is such a sunny and bright color. I used the Lemon Zest Stamp Set and the Lemon Builder Punch to make this card. You can buy them as a bundle and save 10% until May 31st! So just a few days left to get them at this special price. On June 1st, you’ll still see them in the new Stampin’ Up! catalog, but not with the bundle pricing.
This is the challenge that was the inspiration for the card.
I was really please how it came out. This is the outside of the card.…and this is the inside! I added a little extra “lime” to the inside.
So many of the cards are floral and well my husband is just not into all the “flowery fluff” as he calls it…..but I think this card looks a little more “manly”. He actually laughed when he saw the inside of the card.
Here’s the recipe for the card so you can make one for your “Main Squeeze”!

Stamp Set: Lemon Zest
Ink: Dapper Denim, Lemon Lime Twist
Cardstock: Dapper Denim, Lemon Lime Twist, Whisper White

Use the Lemon Builder Punch to punch out the leaves and the lime (after stamping of course!) Fussy cut the lime slice and then cut it in half. One half for the outside of the card, the other for the inside lower right corner.
Assemble all the pieces using snail adhesive.
