I am a sucker for anything blue and white. It’s no secret that blue is my favorite color….just about any shade of blue will do. The new Sun Prints Designer Series Paper in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog is also all blue patterns in Night of Navy, Pacific Point and Starry Sky on one side (and Gray Granite patterns on the other).
This fun Cross Over Fun Fold card is one of the cards I am sharing this week using this set of papers.
This card has three pieces (all the same size) that criss-cross on the front of the card. the top and bottom strips are attacked to the left hand side and the middle strip is attached to the right hand side of the front of the card. So when you open the card, it looks like this.
and like this when fully opened. So plently of room to write on the inside. You can also add a sentiment to th inside or do a little stamping.
The sentiment, tag and floral accent piece are all from this Nature’s Prints Bundle – Nature’s Prints Stamp Set and Natural Print Dies
I stamped both the sprig of flowers a tehe Best Wishes sentiment in Night of Navy ink. The sentiment tag, which is a nice bonus of this set of dies, as well as the flower sprig, is attached with dimentionals to the middle strip. Because the rounded top and bottom of the tag is just a tad longer than the strip, the top and bottom strips tuck neatly underneath to help hold the card closed
If you would like to make this card, you will need these supplies
- Nature’s Prints Stamp Set & Natural Prints Dies
- Night of Navy Cardstock – Cut 4 1/4″ x 11″; Score on either end of the LONG side at 2 3/4″, and cut three pieces 4″ x 7/8″
- Basic White Cardstock – Cut 5 1/4″ x 4 and Cut three pieces 3 7/8″ x 3/4″
- Sun Prints Designer Series Paper – Cut three pieces 3 3/4″ x 5/8″ of the darker design and cut two pieces 2 1/2″ x 4″
- Ink: Night of Navy
- Rhinestones Basic Jewels (Color with Night of Navy Dark Stampin’ Blends)
- Adhesive: Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals
- Tools: Paper Trimmmer, Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine
