I wasn’t planning to share this quite yet, but I went out of town for a wonderful Craft Retreat this past week-end and ended up staying longer than planned. I took my mother who recently moved in with me to visit with my sister while I was at the retreat. My mother decided to have a little fun of her own when she fell in the shower, and then almost passed out in a chair while having lunch necessitating a visit by the Rescue Squad and a short stay in the hospital. She is fine….no worries there, but I’m not back home yet and don’t have access to my computer….or my projects to be able to take pictures. This is the one picture I have of the project.
I have one of the quickest and easiest gift ideas for you today….and not only can you make 4 of these from one piece of Peaceful Place Designer Series Paper, you can make them all in just a few minutes! Think….last minute gift idea!
Why is this so easy? Because of the Peaceful Place Designer Series Paper….
and this one 12” x 12” piece that is part of the paper set. It is the third from the left on the top row. You can’t tell in that picture, but this is the piece of paper”
I used my Paper Trimmer to simply cut this piece into four 6” x 6” pieces. I then used Cherry Cobbler ink and the Merry Christmas sentiment from the Heartfelt Wishes Stamp set and stamped the sentiment at the top right corner.
I wrapped a piece of White Glittered Organdy Ribbon around the stamped piece of paper and tied it in a bow. Then I adhered that to a piece of 6 1/4” x 6 1/4” piece of Cherry Cobble Cardstock. I then used Stampin Dimensionals and adhered the layered piece to piece of 6 3/4” x 6 3/4” Basic White Cardstock and the final background layer is an 8” x 8” piece of Basic Gray Cardstock. All that was left to do is put it in an 8” x 8” Shadow box frame that I purchased at a big box craft store and I was done!

- Heartfelt Wishes Stamp Set
- Peaceful Place Designer Series Paper – Cut into four 6” x 6” pieces
- Cherry Cobbler Cardstock – Cut 6 1/4” x 6 1/4”
- Basic White Cardstock – Cut 6 3/4” x 6 3/4”
- Basic Gray Cardstock – Cut 8” x 8”
- Ink: Cherry Cobbler
- White Glittered Organdy Ribbon – about 18”
- Adhesive: Stampin’ Seal or Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Tools: Paper Trimmer, Paper Snips
It makes a beautiful gift and it’s fast and easy to make.
