General Cards, Snailed It

Snail Mail….slowly but surely

Our mail has been sooooo slow lately….it was pretty bad back in December which everyone attributed to all the holiday mailings, people buying gifts online etc, but it’s now March…yes already!) and it is still taking letters 2-3 weeks just to go across town. It really makes the words Snail Mail seem so appropriate. But the best Snail Mail is Stampin’ Up’s Designer Series Paper called Snail Mail! It has been so much fun making cards with this set of papers.

It’s hard to resist those cute little snails!….and mushrooms…..and little letters and love notes. There are so many fun cards to make.  And this paper makes it easy too, and even easier when you CASE (copy and share) the design from a fellow demonstrator, Brian King.

These papers are so easy to mix and match. This card uses 4 of the designs. Three on the card and then one that I fussy cut the “Snailman” who is out delivering mail. The only thing stamped on this card is the sentiment that is part of the coordinating stamp set called Snailed it.

These are great little images.  And although I didn’t use them for this card, you can check out two other cards I made with this stamp set in this post: Fun with the Postage Stamp Punch.  And I’ll be sharing a few more this week too.

This is a great card to send to someone to just say “hi”.  And since today is “Mail it Monday”, why not grab your papers, make this card and pop it into the mail?  These are the supplies you will need:

  • Snailed It Stamp Set
  • Tasteful Label Dies (Stitched banner)
  • Coastal Cabana Cardstock – Cut 4 ¼” x 11”, Score and fold at 5 ½”
  • Real Red Cardstock –

  1. Love this suite. And timing of this in the catalog is pretty spot on! I mailed out birthday cards to niece and nephew and it arrived the day we started our road trip to TX. I ended up hand delivering it to them!
