Puzzle Card with Fine Art Floral

How about a little Friday fun?  The design of the card I am sharing today is called a Puzzle Card……but there is a piece missing from the picture! And that is because it is on the inside of the card in the spot where it would be if it was on the front (where it belongs!)  So you get a little surprise when you open the card. I was trying to decide which Designer Series paper I was going to use and decided that the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper would be perfect.  These papers look like an artists painting complete with realistic brush marks.  Just look at those brushstrokes! And here is the entire set of papers.  There are several floral pieces as well as others with just one color that make great coordinating background pieces. You can leave any piece of your “puzzle” off the front.  I choose the bottom left because I like that you get a sneak peak if the card is partially open like here. If you would like to try this card, these are the supplies that you will need:

• Poppy Parade Cardstock –
  • Cut 4 1/4” x 11”, Score and fold at 5 1/2” (card base)
  • Cut 3 1/2” x 4 1/2” – Cut this piece into 4 equal pieces 1 3/4” x 2 1/4”
• Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper – Cut 3 1/4” x 4 1/4” – Cut this piece into 4 equal pieces: 1 5/8” x 2 1/8”
• Basic White Cardstock – Cut two pieces 4” x 5 1/4”
• Ink: Poppy Parade
• Hydrangea Haven Stamp Set (sentiment)
• Gold Glitter Enamel Dots
• Adhesive: Stampin’ Seal, Dimensionals
• Tools: Paper Trimmer
