With the countdown to Christmas down to just 7 days…..Yikes!…..it’s time to think about gift cards for some last minute gifts. And to make your gift card look special and not just a gift card stuck in a generic holder…let’s have a little fun and make a few! With just one piece of cardstock and some small pieces of Designer Series paper and other scraps…you can make two gift card holders!
You will need one piece of 8 1/2” x 11” cardstock. First cut 3/4” off the SHORT side (so you are left with a piece of 7 3/4” x 11”. Next turn your cardstock and cut on the LONG Side…two pieces that are 4 1/2” (gift card holder)wide and two pieces that are 1” wide (belly-bands).
I used scraps of the Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper (Misty Moonlight Stripes & Snowflakes) and also scraps of the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper. Both of these papers are on sale as part of the Last Chance Clearance Sale.
For the cute owls on the front…those are from the Have a Hoot Stamp Set (which is also retiring!) For one holder, I used two circle punches and for the other just cut two rectangles (because not everyone has circle punches and I wanted to show you that if you don’t have something, just improvise!
If you want to make these gift card holders, these are the supplies you will need (and measurements!):

Ok. Figured it but had to change some measurements. Great beholder, thanks.
Sorry, you had trouble with the measurements and glad you figured it out. I’ll have to go back and see if I made a mistake in what I wrote!
