The stamp set I used for this card is called A Merry Hello and is one of the Hostess Stamp Sets. It’s a great bargain and it’s a stamp set that you can use every year!
I did a little embossing on two of the pieces on the card front. I embossed the Whisper White cardstock with the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder so it would look like a fireplace and I embossed the Soft Suede Strip for the mantle with the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder to give it more of a real wood look.
I used Dimensionals to adhere the stockings to the mantle so they would look like they were actually hanging and added a little decorative greenery along the top.
The stockings are stamped on Whisper White and I colored them using Stampin’ Blends markers. And you might not be able tell in the picture, but I added a bit of Wink of Stella to the stockings too to give them a little sparkle. Shouldn’t everything glisten and sparkle at Christmas?

- Stampin’ Blends: Poppy Parade and Shaded Spruce
- Gold cord from the Wonder of the Season Ribbon Combo Pack
