I think I just made up the name, Swing Arm Card for the Fun Fold that I used for this card. I am not sure that is the actual name, but it does describe how the card opens. I’ll let you decide if the name I gave the card is a good one. I love using the color red to decorate at Christmas, so my card today has lots of Real Red Cardstock and Real Red patterned paper from the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Papers.
That reindeer, I’ll call him Rudolph, since i gave him a little bit of a red nose with my Stampin’ Blends was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored with Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends and his antlers are colored with Soft Suede Blends. And of course I can’t forget his big bow tie that is colored with a Real Red Stampin’ Blends marker.
The reindeer image is from the Warm and Toasty Stamp Set. The arm piece that is across the front, swings open to reveal a little hidden message.
But the fun is not over yet as the card opens again to reveal another sentiment….and if you were receiving this card in the mail, there would most likely be a personal message from the sender.
The Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper is my favorite Christmas Paper this year. I love the traditional Christmas colors of red & green. And there is lots of Real Red, Old Olive and Mossy Meadow in this set of papers along stripes, patterns, checks, plaids, just a little bit of everything fun.
