The entire banner is 36 inches long which gives you plenty of extra on the ends to tie it to your Christmas tree, hang it on a fireplace mantle, stair railing…..I can think of lots of places to put this.
I used the Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper to make the banner pieces. This paper is perfect for this project as there are both stripe and checked pattern pieces that give it a homespun look. All of Stampin’ Up’s Designer Series Papers are double-sided, with a different design on each side. but this paper is the same design on front and back….but a different color. One side is Real Red and the other side is Garden Green.
That means that if you don’t want your banner to be all red…..you can just use the other side of your paper and either do all green….or alternate your colors like I did here:
All I did was flip two of the papers over and now it has a whole new look!
I used the Merry Moose Stamp Set and Moose Punch for the Moose (obviously) and also for the trees and sentiment. The pine cones, branches and tag are all from the Beautiful Boughs Dies.
Here is a close-up of the 4 designs I used for the banners.

I love this project! Thank you for all of the measurements! How did you attach your pieces to the string?
I put Tear & Tape across the top of the banner piece. I started with the middle piece and laid the string (I made sure the middle of the string was in the middle of the banner piece) just underneath the score line, then folded the top down. I used my grid paper to evenly space them out ( 2 Squares = 1/2”). You could use Stampin’ Seal Plus too. Hope that helps.
That is very helpful. Thank you so much!
