Autumn Punch Pack – Let’s Make a Wreath!

What happens when you pick your favorite fall cardstock colors of Pumpkin Pie, Cherry Cobbler, Bumblebee and Old Olive and combine them with the Autumn Punch Pack and a whole lot of glue dots?? FFB2AA57-BD0F-4533-8C4E-9FF1DEA54096 A little disclaimer….I took the above picture before I used up most of what I had punched to make this: 75579EB6-2AF2-4C28-8B8E-02E72124E3D6 It was so easy to make.  I started with a leftover scalloped circle that I had cut the middle out of.  I used that as my base and randomly attached the leaves using the glue dots.  I alternated colors and shapes of the leaves and went counterclockwise around.  When I got back to the starting point, I just tucked a few of the leaves underneath the leaves at the starting point. 52FC49B9-E842-4AAF-B4F9-3A1CF0B81711 And the best part is that there is no mess either.  The leaves are too small to try and use Stampin’ Seal and glue would have been messy.  Glue dots were the answer.  I attached a leaf to the glue dot and then pulled it off the “tape” they come on….the glue dot stays attached to the cardstock leaf, making it easy-peasy to adhere to the circle frame. 78C711E0-03D1-408C-93D6-F38C63D4E3C1I attached the wreath to a piece of the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper.  The paper already had a wood grained look, but I decided to give it a little more texture by embossing it with the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder. If you look closely at the photo below you can see some of the plank ridges.  It looks like a real piece of wood doesn’t it? C5D58A48-B5DA-478C-991B-0BC124EF3478 All that was left was to stamp a sentiment on a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock – which is from the Gathered Leaves Stamp Set –  adhere it to the front of the card, and then add a little ribbon.  I used two pieces of Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon to make the bow. 67308997-0839-4A7D-8218-5EC81307B7D8 If you would like to make this card, these are the supplies you will need:

  1. It looks like it will take a whole lot of glue dots, but I think it is cute enough that I’m going to give it a try! Thanks for the inspiration!

    1. You’re welcome Anita! I counted and I used 59 glue dots! But so much easier and not messy like trying to use glue. It went fairly fast too….it was worth every glue dot! I’d love to see your card!
