2020 Aug-Dec Mini Catalog (Holiday), Seasonal - Winter

Feels like Frost….

Feels like Frost…..only in the back corners of my mind!….we’ve had record setting temperatures here in Virginia.  As I mentioned on Wednesday’s post, I  cleaned out the bits and pieces of “cards to be” and found the pieces for the card I am sharing today.

The paper is part of the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper.  It was part of the 2019 Holiday collection of papers and was so popular that it sold out faster than Stampin’ Up could keep it in stock…so it’s back this year as a “Returning Favorite” in the new 2020 Aug-Dec Mini Catalog (which I like to call the “Holiday Catalog”.  The images on the paper are actual photographs, so if you like realistic papers, then this one is for you!

I took a larger piece and then cut it into 4 pieces.  Three that are across the top and the other is at the bottom.  I then placed the pieces on a piece of Silver Foil Sheet.  You can see it peaking through the spaces between the paper.

I added a sentiment from a stamp set called Snowflake Wishes that is also in the new 2020 Aug-Dec Mini Catalog.  It’s perfect for this “snowy” card.

If you’d like to make this card, these are the supplies that you will need:

  • Snowflake Wishers (sentiment)
  • Stitched So Sweetly Dies (Sentiment tag)
  • Whisper White Thick Cardstock – Cut 4 ¼” x 11”; Score and fold at 5 ½”
  • Silver Foil Sheet – Cut 5 ¼” x 4”
  • Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper – Cut 3 ¾” x 3 ¾  then cut into three strips that are  1 1/4” x 3 ¾”,  also a piece Cut 4” x 1 ⅜”, and a piece cut ¾” x 5 ¼” (inside)
  • Whisper White Cardstock – Cut 5 ¼” x 4” (for inside), plus a piece 2 ¾” x 1 ⅝” (or die cut with Stitched So Sweetly Dies)
