Did you know that you can make a card with minimal stamping? How about almost no stamping?? You might have to do a bit of coloring….but no image stamping. And it is all because of the Country Club Designer Series Paper.
One of the sheets in this paper pack (it is the paper on the far left) is a series of images that are ready to be colored. In keeping with the golf theme of the paper, there are images of a man golfer, the fairway and this woman golfer that I put on the front of my card:
I also choose one of the argyle patterns from this set of papers in muted shades of gray.
I was going to color in the picture, but I decided to leave it just with way it was as it went so well with the argyle pattern on the paper. I initially gave it a pop of color by coloring the hat with a Real Red Dark Stampin’ Blend Marker. But then I thought….no it needed more, so I colored in the golf shoes too. My Mom, who is 90 is an avid golfer….she’s been playing for more years than I can remember and still gets out on the course when she has the chance….although not lately due to the “stay at home” order in Arizona where she lives. She also has more pairs of golf shoes than I care to count and at one time she even owned a red pair.
If you’d like to make this card, you will need the following:
- On to Adventure Stamp Set (sentiment)
- Whisper White Thick Cardstock – Cut 5 ½” x 8 ½”: Score and fold at 4 ¼”
- Real Red Cardstock – Cut 5 ¼” x 4” and a cut a piece 4 ⅛” x 3 ⅛”
