It’s been a long week and as I’m writing this it’s only Tuesday. So today I am sharing a super simple Christmas Card made with one of the prettiest sets of Designer Series Paper in the new 2019 Holiday Catalog, Feels Like Frost.
See that beautiful scenery? Each paper in the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper is a beautiful photograph of a winter scene….think snowy fields, frosty trees, icicles on flowers.
These little snippets in the picture above don’t do this paper justice, You have to see it yourself to appreciate how beautiful and peaceful each scene looks. And in addition to the front side, the back side is equally as pretty….all silver and shiny designs.
The Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper just makes the card, so you don’t need to add much to your card. I stamped my my sentiment right onto the Desiger Series Paper in the coordinating Seaside Spray ink.
Then I added a little shiny ribbon along the bottom called Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon. It has just enough sparkle to make this card shine.
As you can see in the picture above….I did add a little more shine to the card by choosing to layer the Feels LIke Frost Designer Series Paper with some Silver Foil Cardstock.
If you’d like to make this card for yourself, this is what you’ll need:
- First Frost Designer Series Paper
- Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set (greeting)
- Seaside Spray Cardstock – Cut 5 1/2” x 8 1/2”; Score and fold at 4 1/4”
- Silver Foil Cardstock – Cut 5 1/4” x 4”
- Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper – Cut 5” x 3 3/4” and a piece 1/2” x 5 1/4”
- Seaside Spray 1/4” Metallic Ribbon
- Snail Adhesive or Multipurpose Liquid Glue, and Tear & Taper (adhere ribbon)
And as always, don’t forget the inside! I added a small strip of the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Papers to the side….and it still leaves plenty of room for your personal message. Hope you enjoyed this card. It’s not too early to start on your Christmas card making!
Happy Stamping!
Patricia
