So my Red, White and Blue week last week didn’t work out as I expected. I was getting ready to travel…..19 hour airplane trip….and I’ll be gone almost a month. I had so many things to do and even though I thought I could fit everything in….it just didn’t happen. So I’m going to save those cards for July….because well Red, White & Blue fit in so great for a Fourth of July Celebration. And since I’m traveling, I thought that this retiring stamp set – En Route, would be perfect for sharing another card.
It took me awhile to make cards with this stamp set and once I started I couldn’t stop because it makes some fun “non flowery” cards. Great for the men in your life, as well as graduates. This is super simple to make….and don’t forget to use your Best Route enamel shapes to mark your spot on the map!
If you’d like to make this card, this is what you’ll need:
- En Route Stamp Set
- Best Route Designer Series Paper
- Cardstock: Basic Gray, Mango Melody & Whisper White
- ¾” Circle Punch
- 1” Circle Punch
- Best Route Enamel Shapes
- Ink: Basic Gray
- Ribbon: ¼” Basic Gray Satin
- Snail Adhesive, Glue Dots, Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Card:
- Base: Gray Granite Cardstock – Cut 4 ¼” x 11” ; Score at 5 ½”
- Best Route Designer Series Paper – Cut 5 ¼” x 4” and a coordinating piece 2” x 4”
- Mango Melody Cardstock – Cut 3 ¾” x 2 ½” and a piece cut 1 ¾” x 1 ¾”, plus scraps for 1” circle
- Whisper White Cardstock – Cut 3 ½” x 2 ¼” and a piece cut 1 ½” x 1 ½”, plus scraps for 3/4” circle
- Inside:
- Whisper White Cardstock – Cut 5 ¼” x 4”
- Best Route Designer Series Paper – Cut ½” x 4”
And after you make your card…..find a spot to travel to this summer…either near or far.
