One of the things I love about some of the new designer series papers that Stampin’ Up just released besides the pretty colors is that it shimmers! Hold it up to the light and wiggle it back and forth and you can see that some of the flowers have a little shine to them so they shimmer in the light. I’ve been trying to get the right light and angle with my camera to show that. Notice how the flowers in the picture on the right, look a little lighter!, that’s because they have a little shine on them and are shimmering in the light.
This card is made from one of the “shimmery” papers from the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Paper Series (DSP) paired with Tranquil Tide cardstock.
I also added al little strip of the DSP to the inside of the card…just to make it look pretty, and it’s a great way to use up a scrap of paper. Because who wants to throw away pretty things??

Love What You Do Stamp Set
Share What You Love Designer Series Paper – cut 5 1/4” x 4”, plus a scrap cut 1/2” x 4”
Tranquil Tide Cardstock – cut 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” ; scored at 4 1/4”
Whisper White Cardstock – cut 5 1/4” x 4” (for inside of card)
Tranquil Tide Ink Pad
Snail Adhesive
Ribbon – This ribbon (3/8” Tranquil Tide) was just retired, but they have a new ruffled ribbon that I have ordered and I am waiting for it to arrive….but I didn’t want to wait to finish the card. Yes, I’m impatient. And besides, just because it’s retired, doesn’t mean you can’t use it…I actually bought more of this ribbon because I knew it was retiring and I just love it, because it’s so beautiful and easy to tie!
