One of the fun perks of being a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator and going to conventions is all the free swag that you come home with. When I registered, I got this box –
It’s a beautiful box…but what was inside was even better!
The box contained a reversable canvas bag (and we needed this each day to carry home the additional swag we received when they did Prize Patrols!), a stamp set that will be in the new Occasions catalog, three notebooks, a set of pens, a lanyard and a badge holder. Each attendee also received a letter with ribbons for any milestones or recognition that they received during the year. Here is mine:
Notice the numbered badge? Everyone had a number 1-8 and each day numbers were called for the Prize Patrol….and you received one of the new stamp sets that is coming out in January during Sale-A-Bration. Also at various times they would give “prizes” to everyone!
These are the 3 of the 4 stamp sets I received plus new Designer Series Paper. These will all be available to order beginning January 1st when the new Occasions catalog comes out! As a demonstrator, I was allowed to pre-purchase select items from the catalog and also from the Sale-A-Bration catalog (that starts in January too!)
I can only show you the cover, but let me tell you it’s packed with fun new stamp sets, Framelits, ribbons, embellishments, papers….all kinds of goodies! You can tell I’ve been looking at it….ALOT….by the crumpled corners. I’ll be showing you some of those cards in the next few weeks….mixed in with some fun Christmas ideas for tags, boxes, bags, gift card holders….you know all those things you need for Stocking stuffers….because you’ve already got all your Christmas cards done….right????
If not, here’s one more for you to make! It’s a fun fold card….not sure of the exact name of the fold….so I’m just calling it the double backwards card….it’s like two cards in one and the second one opens the opposite way….backwards.
You open the top card (the one with the wine glasses to the right, then open the side flap to the left…..

Merry Merlot Cardstock – Cut 2 5/8” x 4 1/8”
Joyous Noel Designer Series Paper – Cut 2 1/2” x 4”
1/8” Gold Ribbon (for bow)
Small Card
Shaded Spruce Cardstock – Cut 7 1/2” x 3 1/4”; Score at 3 3/4”
Whisper White Cardstock – Cut two pieces 3” x 3 1/2”
Merry Merlot Cardstock – Cut 3 1/8” x 3 5/8
