But then I thought….why not just change up the colors a little bit and make it more cheerful. So I purpled out a piece of Granny Apple Green and a few Stampin’ Blend’s Markers in more “spring-like” colors of Balmy blue, Granny Apple Green, Soft Sea Foam and Seaside Mist.
Much better! Now it brings me joy!. I used three of the Stampin’ Blends to do the background – Light Balmy Blue, Light Seasaide Spray and Light Granny Apple Green. And I just realized now while I am writing the post, that the way I placed the colors, it’s like “land” and “sky”.
I stamped two of the images onto Whisper White Cardstock (which is now Basic White) colored them with blends and then fussy cut them out and adhered them to the front of the card with dimensionals.
I added a sentiment that I stamped with Versa Mark and then embossed the sentiment with Dazzling Diamond Embossing Powder
I also added a little “shine” to the card by using Wink of Stella on the Seed Pods. Every card should have a little bling…..right? If you look closely at the seeds pods, they have a little glimmer.
