Who doesn’t love to have a new beginning? A chance to start something new? It can be exciting, thrilling and scary all at the same time, especially if you jump in with both feet and no plan. That’s what I did. Just jumped right in.
My sister calls me the “artsy-craftsy” one in the family. And it’s true….I’ve always liked trying different things to bring out my creative side. I’ve sewed, quilted, tried watercolor painting and have been an avid scrapbooker for years…..but when I ran into a friend I hadn’t seen in years in the “craft” aisle of a store and she mentioned that she was a “stamper” and invited me to her Stampin’ Up workshops, that was all it took. I was hooked!
Now I get to play with pretty paper and beautiful colors of ink, lots of fun stamps and all kinds of ribbons and other pretty embellishments. I love being able to make simple and easy cards, boxes, tags, bookmarks, scrapbook embellishments and more. Just name something that involves paper and you can stamp it! I also love that what I create is more personal. When I send a card to a friend, it’s not a “cookie cutter” card from a store, but a card they know I made especially for them!
I love to share all my creations with my friends and family, encouraging them to be creative and crafty by showing my cards and project ideas to inspire you as you create your own designs.
