And I’m back with another Christmas Easy Card Design! On Tuesday I shared a non-Christmas card using the Hooray for Surprises Stamp Set. You can see that card and post HERE. And yesterday I shared a card using the same layout but with a Christmas theme usiing the Merriest Trees Stamp Set. You can see that post HERE.
Today’s card is made using the same Easy Card Design layout but this time I turned the card horizontal instead of vertical.
I used the Trucking Along Stamp set and the Trucking Along Builder Punch. Both these items are part of the Online Exclusives that as the name implies can only be found online (Link is below) and does not appear in the current catalog. This is a fun stamp set as it is not strictly Christmas themed, it’s good for all seasons with Palm trees (summer) and flowers for spring. and maybe trees for the shade of summer! You can also use the punch to assemble a truck (truck body, fenders, tires and window) or you can use the stamps to stamp a truck like I did and then punch it out.
And I added a little extra in the background by embossing the 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Basic White Cardstock with the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder. Snow for Christmas!
And I still had scraps on my desk of the Designer Series paper that I used for my last card, A Walk in the Forest, so I used three of the same design for this card;
If you’d like to make this card, you will need the following:
- Trucking Along Stamp Set and Trucking Along Builder Punch (Purchase as a Bundle and save 10%)
- Snowy Sky 3D Embossing Folder
- Garden Green Cardstock – Cut 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, Score and fold at 4 1/4″, plus Cut a piece 2 1/4″ x 4 1/8″
- A Walk in the Forest Designer Series Paper (Retired) – Cut three 3 3/4″ x 3/4″ strips from the same paper pattern. (Or use any green Christmas themed paper in your stash!)
- Basic White Cardstock – Cut 2 pieces 4″ x 5 1/4″ and Cut 1 piece 2 1/8″ x 4″
- Ink: Garden Green, Real Red, Crumb Cake, and Memento Tuxedo Black
- Toile Tidings Glitter Dots (Retired)
- Paper Trimmer, Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Dimensionals
