Bottled Happiness – More Flowers!

This is my last post this week using the Bottled Happiness Stamp Set and the coordinating Vintage Bottle Punch.  In my last post I told you about my flowers that I haven’t killed yet that are in my flower beds.   (Yes, I have two black thumbs!).  And I finally got smart and started planting perennials so they would come back year after year, giving Mother Nature full control.   So I thought I would show you what they looked like just to prove that Mother Nature is taking care of things outside……

While I stamp some flowers inside.

I used the Bottled Happiness Stamp Set and the Vintage Bottle Punch again for this card.  You can check out my previous post HERE.  Just a quick reminder that you can save 10% if you purchase these as a bundle!

For this card I chose to use two more of the new In-Colors – Sweet Sorbet and Starry Sky.  A little bit on the Patriotic side with my color choice, but I do love a pretty blue!  And I decided that who needs green leaves when you can stamp them in Starry Sky blue ink!

For the Designer Series Paper, I chose a pattern from the Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper because it had tiny flowers on it that looked a bit like the stamped flowers.  It’s a very subtle pattern.  You can find it on the top row, fourth from the left in the picture below.

And once again my Paper Snips were used to fussy cut those flowers.  I know alot of people don’t like to fussy cut, but to me it’s very sothing and calming.  My biggest hint for fussy cutting is to hold the hand that you use to cut with still.  That would be the hand holding the scissors.   Move the paper as you cut, not the scissors.  You’ll get a better cut and the edges will look a bit smoother as you aren’t constantly moving the scissors.  It takes a little practice, but don’t give up!

I added a bit of Wink of Stella to the punched Vintage Bottle.  From this camera angle, it almost looks like the bottle is a little bit rounded!  And it’s definitely sparkly!

If you would like to make this card, these are the supplies that you will need:

Happy Stamping!  And don’t forget to give your envelope some love too!
