If you saw my post for the Pocket Card Fun Fold last Friday (Pocket Card Fun Fold ) and then watched the video that I had attached, then you’ll know that I didn’t make just one card, I made two! So this is just a quick post to share that card too as they have very different looks.
This card is the same design as the one I posted on Friday, but I used Blackberry Beauty Designer Series Paper. This paper is more beautiful than it looks in the photos. (And it would probably look better if I had a better camera too!) If it definitely one set of papers that you need to see in person as it has gold foil accents that glimmer in the light.
The piece that I chose to use for this card has one side (leaves) that is non-directional and one side (field of flowers) that has an obvious vertical pattern. The side with the vertical pattern should be on the inside of the card. If it was on the outside (front) of the card when you folded up the bottom piece, the design would be upside down.
For this card, I stamped the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink lining it up with the left side of the Very Vanilla Cardstock. I don’t used Very Vanilla Cardstock often, but the Basic White Cardstock seemed too bright and stark. The Very Vanilla gives it a more elegant, softer look. 
And instead of snowflakes, I die cut two of the smaller leaves from the Stitched Leaves Dies. I adhered them together with a glue dot on the stems, then added them to the front using Mini Dimensionals. A small bow made with the gold Simply Elegant Twine finished the card (and covered the glue dot where the two leaves were attached together.
If you would like to make this card, you will need the following supplies:
- Heartfelt Wishes Stamp Set
- Stitched Leaves Dies
- Blackberry Bliss Cardstock – Cut 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ and a piece cut 4 7/8″ x 3 5/8″
- Peaceful Place Designer Series Paper – Cut 5 1/4″ x 12″; Score on the LONG side at 4″ and 8″
- Silver Foil Specialty Paper – Cut 5 1/4″ x 1 1/2″; plus scraps for two snowflakes
- Very Vanilla Cardstock – Cut 5 1/4″ x 1 1/4″ and Cut 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″
- Brushed Metallic Paper (Gold) – Cut 5 1/4″ x 1 5/8″; scraps for the leaves (Gold & Copper)
- Ink: Blackberry Bliss
- Simply Elegant Trim (Gold)
- Adhesive: Multipurpose Liquid Glue (or Stampin’ Seal);, Mini Dimensionals
- Tools: Paper Trimmer, Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, Paper Snips
Here are the two cards side by side. Same design, but one is definitely more of a Thanksgiving card and the other obviously is Christmas!
