Today is a holiday….Memorial Day…A day to honor and remember the men and women who served in the United States military and gave their lives defending our freedoms. I am extremely grateful for their service.
This is a quick and easy card that you can make in the morning and still go out and enjoy your day!
Not much explanation is needed…except you can be punch happy with this card because it uses three different punches: The Leaf Punch, the Sprig Punch and the Small Daisy Punch.
You will notice that I did not use the traditional green for the leaves and “greenery”….because I wanted to stick with my patriotic theme, so I used Real Red and Night of Navy Cardstock.
If you would like to make this card, these are the supplies that you will need:
- Daisy Lane Stamp Set
- Seaside Notions Stamp Set
- Punches: Medium Daisy, Leaf and Sprig Punches
- Night of Navy Cardstock – Cut 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″; Score and fold at 4 1/4″; plus scraps for leaves.
- Real Red Cardstock – Cut 5″ x 3 3/4″. plus scraps for Sprigs and flower centers
- Whisper White Cardstock – Cut 4 7/8″ x 3 5/8″; plus scraps for 4 daisy petals and a piece cut 5 1/4″ x 4″ (inside of card)
- Night of Navy Gingham Checked Ribbon (Retired)
- Night of Navy Ink, Real Red Ink
- Adhesives: Snail or Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals
