Birthdays happen everyday….and in my family (and friends) I’ve got a slew of them in November & December – 7 in November and 8 in December! But lately I’ve been playing with some of the stamp sets that came out in Stampin’ Up’s 2018 Holiday catalog. You know because it’s fun to play with new stamp sets! And I got to looking at the Feathers & Frost stamp set.
and decided that just because it’s a “Christmas” stamp set, doesn’t mean I can’t combine it with other sentiments and change the colors to make it into a something different….like a birthday card!
The sentiments came from the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set.
If you’d like to make this card, here is what you’ll need:
- Feathers & Frost Stamp Set
- Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp Set
- Highland Heather Cardstock – Cut 4 1/4” x 11”; Scored at 5 1/2”
- Mint Macaron Cardstock – Cut 4” x 5 1/4”
- Whisper White Cardstock – Cut 3 3/4” x 5”
- Ink: Memento Black & Highland Heather
- Stampin’ Blends: Mint Macaron (Light & Dark), Calypso Coral Light, Highland Heather (Light & Dark)
- Ribbon: Purple Ribbon (this is not SU ribbon….I found it at Dollar Tree)
- Snail Adhesive & Tear ‘n Tape
So next time you pull out a Christmas stamp set, you don’t have to use it just for the holidays….use it all year round!!
