It is beautiful foil paper, and you can’t tell from this picture, but it has a special Metallic-like shine on the designs and is great for coloring using ink daubers and Stampin’ Blends markers, aqua painters, etc.   Sure, the title of the paper, Year of Cheer, suggests holiday paper….Christmas and New Years come right to my mind,  but by using the right colors, you can create beautiful cards for other holidays and occasions too.  If you used reds & blues on the the paper in the top left corner….they could be fireworks.  Or choose softer colors and that same paper, and you can color it to look more like a field of flowers.  The checkerboard paper in the top right corner could be cut into rectangles and squares and wrapped with a little ribbon and ta-da! instant presents to put on the front of a birthday or Christmas card.  And what about those copper leaves?  They would be beautiful for an autumn or Thanksgiving card.  And of course there is always the bottom right paper….snowflakes for Christmas…..one of my favorite times of the year and as fast as this year seems to be flying by, the holidays will be here befor you can snap your fingers!
