In my earlier post this week, Ride With The Windows Open! I mentioned that I should have made my 3-D red truck the same color as the truck on my card….which was blue.
And I thought about doing that….but then I decided to make another card instead, so I broke out the Real Red Stampin’ Blends markers and started coloring.
And here’s the card:
For this card, I stamped the balloons from the RIDE WITH ME STAMP SET, but I covered them up with hearts that were die cut from the BE MINE STITCHED FRAMELIT DIES. A little love on a card is always a good thing…..right?
And don’t forget the sentiment on the inside too!
If you’d like to make this card, these are the supplies that you’ll need:
- Ride with Me Stamp Set
- Be Mine Stitched Framelit Dies (optional)
- Real Red Cardstock – Cut 4 1/4” x 11”; Score and fold at 5 1/2”
- Basic Black Cardstock – Cut 5 1/4” x 4
- Whisper White Cardstock – Cut 5” x 3 3/4”
- Scraps of Real Red and Whisper White Cardstock and Silver Foil for balloons and truck
- Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
- Stampin’ Blends: Real Red, Basic Black and Smoky Slate
- Paper Snips (for fussy cutting the truck)
- SNAIL adhesive and Stampin’ Dimensionals
